Happy Hearts sing at Music Hall on Dec. 22

I will start off with a correction date for the Happy Hearts Chorus concert at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall. The concert is Sunday, Dec. 22 with the show beginning at 1pm. Join us at this free special event as we celebrate the holiday season together. Special guest singers are James Garrity and Lori McLaughlin Charest!

Learn to play 45s card game

Do you like to play 45’s? Do you want to learn to play 45’s? On Tuesdays, 1-3pm, join Ken Ackroyd as he teaches how to play this Merrimack Valley card game. After learning, you can put your knowledge to work with the 45’s tournaments that are held bi- monthly.

School retirees’ holiday lunch

Methuen Public Schools Retirees Association invites any Methuen Public School retirees to their holiday lunch held Thursday, Dec 12 at the Phoenician Restaurant, 12 Alpha St., Haverhill. 
 

The cocktail hour starts at noon, with the luncheon at 1pm. There will be a choice of chicken, fish or steak tips. The price for the luncheon is $30. Dessert and beverage are included.

There be a 50/50 drawing, plus other prizes to support our scholarship fund.

Take this opportunity for a fun afternoon and a chance to catch up with friends. This celebration of the holidays is open to all retired personnel: teachers, secretaries, program assistants, custodians and administrators.
