Get ready to soak up autumn and the excitement of Halloween – all in one historic spot! The city’s free Fall Festival at Greycourt State Park is Oct. 19 from noon-3pm. There will be a costume contest, candy, games, giveaways and more. Parking is available at Methuen City Hall or in the back of St. Basil’s on East Street. This event, held at the former site of the Tenney Castle (visit MethuenLife.com for a recent story on its history), is sponsored by Mayor Neil Perry and Methuen Parks and Rec. Last year, “Elvis,” also known as Lucas Tashjian, played his guitar while his larger-than-life friends listened. ML file photo
