The Methuen Memorial Music Hall is springing forward with concerts, an upcoming summer series and opportunities for children to perform in a historic venue!
Subscriptions are available for the Concert Summer Series, which is now underway. There are 15 Wednesday night concerts and six Thursday matinee performances that run May through August. The Methuen Young People’s Theatre, which has been introducing area kids to the joy of musical theater for 40-plus years, will focus on Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Patience” this summer. Auditions are set for June 4 and 12 at 6pm at MMMH (only one audition is necessary). Kids who’ll be entering fourth grade up to high school seniors this fall are welcome to participate. First rehearsal and general registration is June 13 at 9am. Only those wishing to try out for an individual role need to try out.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the chorus and can just show up at general registration.
