Volunteers are needed for the city’s annual Flag Replacement event, set for May 17 from 8:30am-noon at Elmwood Cemetery. This is a student-led event overseen by the Methuen Department of Veterans Services. Each year around Memorial Day, they replace small American flags on the graves of all veterans interred in Methuen. Breakfast will be available at 8:30am, and this event is rain or shine.
