Last month’s two-day telethon raised $33,233 – and counting! – for the Methuen Scholarship Foundation.
In addition to great live performances and the energized emcee-ing of Methuen High Counseling Chair Martha Tatro and science teacher/athletic trainer Al DeLano, a friendly army of volunteers manned the phoned and gladly accepted donations.
The online auction closes April 1. Available for bids are theme and scratch-ticket baskets, sports memorabilia, restaurant packages, a Methuen Rangers letterman jacket, bicycles, “Star Wars Mega Mystery Box” and much more! Shantae Paulino and Alejandro Roche performed a beautiful duet of Extreme’s “More Than Words.” Both are members of the MHS Choir.
