Forty years!

Forty years in the community helping and serving our beloved seniors in Methuen and surrounding communities. We love our jobs because of YOU! You all hold a special place in our hearts. Whether you come for activities, classes or just to sit and talk, you are a staple in this home-away-from-home! If you haven’t been here yet, we invite you to come and take a tour. We look forward to meeting and connecting with each of you!  

The 40th anniversary of the Methuen Senior Activity Center is Friday, June 14 from 3-7pm at the center. Tickets are $10 and go on sale June 3. Buy them Monday to Thursday, 8am-3pm and Friday, 8am-noon. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and seating is limited.

The event will be as follows: 3-4pm: Open house and tours; 4-5pm: Speeches and recognitions. Honor the milestones and achievements of the past four decades with heartfelt speeches and special recognition; 5-6 pm: Dinner served by Quality Catering; 6-7pm: Mingling, music and dancing.

New Ambassador Program info  

If you’re interested in becoming part of the Ambassador Program, we invite you to reach out and sign up. You’ll be matched with an Active Ambassador from the COA. This dedicated individual will guide you through a special tour of the building, accompany you to a program that interests you and share their own experiences at the center.  

We understand that sometimes taking the first step can be challenging. But with our friendly atmosphere and the support of our COA Ambassadors, we’re confident that you’ll find the experience enriching and enjoyable.
