The American Legion Boys State Program is an annual weeklong leadership event for teens held at Stonehill College. High school History Department teachers recommend the boys who attend each year. Sponsors for the local Boys State Program are the Methuen Exchange Club, Methuen VFW Post 8349, Methuen American Legion Post 122 and the Lawrence Vietnam Memorial Scholarship Fund.
