Last month, Methuen Village assisted living had an incredible visit from Goldy’s Farm Animal Sanctuary in Ipswich. Residents were delighted to interact with Magnus, the most handsome donkey ever; Ziggy, a Flemish Giant Rabbit; and Sally, a fabulous white turkey! Goldy’s staffers Elizabeth Tilston and Judy Connors spoke with residents about the animals and their life with the sanctuary.
It’s evident that this visit brought such joy to this senior community!

Richard Bonnetti, Joe Curran and Ann Curran were fascinated by Ziggy! Who doesn’t love it when a Flemish giant rabbit rolls up in a baby stroller?

Sally entertains the crowd! She had quite a diva personality and the residents adored her. Shown (from left) are Lee Colonnade, Phyllis Winters, Ruth Rodgers, Marguerite Carifio, Elaine Avery and Goldy’s staffer Elizabeth Tilson.

Miss Sally, a white turkey, makes a royal entrance into Methuen Village, thanks to Goldy’s Farm worker Elizabeth Tilson.
