“Bowling!” “Racing!” “Throwing the football!”
Fun Field Day, which is Methuen Public Schools’ version of Special Olympics, took place at Nicholson Stadium. The student-athletes who spoke with MethuenLife all had a great time, and couldn’t agree on which station was the BEST! About 100 kids from grades 5 to 12 participated in events ranging from races and Hula-Hooping to basketball and corn hole, supported by staff and student volunteers.
Each participant received a medal, then enjoyed pizza and drinks.
Shout-out to Methuen Rotary Club, Methuen Boosters, DJ Troy, Brian Camara and Justin Silva for helping to make the day a huge success!
