On display in my kitchen, I have 2 Badger Fire Extinguishers from my Methuen collection. This extinguisher was made in Methuen years ago for only a few years and then the company relocated to other cities and towns in Massachusetts. Mr. Arthur Campbell Badger from Boston, invented this safe, user-friendly soda acid extinguisher. Between 1904 and 1925, he filed a number of patents for Soda Acid fire extinguishers, and he established the Badger Fire Extinguisher Company which has changed hands many times but survives today as Badger Fire Protection, one of the largest manufacturers and retailers of fire protection devices.
