Riddle: What changes from 8 to 1, but is still the size of a city block?

Answer: The Giordano brothers’ massive 148,000-square-foot warehouse/manufacturing facility to the right of Summit Place apartments and visible from Route 213.

Lonnie and Steven Giordano’s Circle G Construction is in the final few months of completing the project known as Pie Hill Warehousing.

“It could hold up to three businesses, but it would be best used for one or two businesses,” said Steven of the 21-loading dock, 1-story structure. “We’re doing the finishing work, electrical and fire suppression work. It’ll probably be done by mid-summer.”

Original plans called for eight different buildings, but changed direction when the Giordanos learned their 21-acre purchase from five years ago would clear zoning issues more easily.

The building’s use is described as “Flex/Industrial,” said Steven, adding that assembly/manufacturing is allowed.

The Giordanos plan to construct a four-bay headquarters for their Circle G business a short distance from the warehouse.
