Last month, Methuen Arlington Neighborhood was presented a $100,000 grant by state officials to help expand after-school and summer programs, strengthen efforts in the neighborhood and more. In a Facebook post announcing the grant, state Sen. Pavel Payano stated, “This investment will help MAN Inc., expand entrepreneurship programs and strengthen revitalization efforts in the Arlington neighborhood. For more than 30 years, under the leadership of Linda Soucy and her staff, MAN Inc., has been a trusted hub for youth, families and small businesses creating real pathways to opportunity and long-term stability.” State Rep. Estella Reyes added, “This is something that will significantly impact the work (of) not just MAN Inc., but the whole entire community.” Here, officials, supporters, staff and students gather for the check-passing.
