The Methuen Arlington Neighborhood (MAN Inc.) annual golf tournament, a pivotal fund-raising event dedicated to supporting vital youth programs at the Lena Lahey Community Center, will take place Monday, May 20 at Merrimack Golf Course starting at 8am.

The recent reduction in state funding poses a significant challenge to the nonprofit, with a 50% cut resulting in a loss of $60,000 for the MAN. Your contribution can help bridge this gap and ensure the continuity of essential initiatives.

“This is a big hit for our small organization, especially where we offer direct services to the youth of the community,” noted MAN Inc. founder Linda Soucy. “But we’ll figure it out and work hard to make some of it up with our golf tournament.”

The tournament offers various opportunities for community members and businesses to contribute to the cause. You can become a sponsor at Gold, Silver, Golf Cart or Dinner Sponsor levels, provide gifts for the raffle, assemble a foursome to play or simply make a donation.

“MAN Inc., is committed to providing essential youth programs through the Lena Lahey Community Center,” a press release stated. “With unwavering dedication, we ensure that 100% of all proceeds from our events directly benefit these programs. Our center serves as a beacon of hope, offering academic support, recreational activities, and guidance to youth facing socio-economic challenges.”
