The Summer Night Music Series at Riverwalk Park returned for the second year on Osgood Street. It kicked off with Troubadour Soul, which plays a mix of funk, rhythm and blues, and soul.
Lead vocalist Eunice Zeigler of Methuen told the crowd, “Tonight, we will be playing mostly original songs.”
Band mates include Jake Zeigler, piano, guitar and vocals; Omar Mirando on drums; and Joe Prieto on bass and trumpet.
These free upcoming concerts will be held Fridays at 6pm:
July 26, Radio Roulette.
Aug. 9, Frontwoods.
Aug. 23, Trouble Again.
The series switches things up Saturday, Sept 7, when The Offramps perform at noon at Forest Lake.
The Summer Night Music Series is sponsored by the City of Methuen and the Methuen Cultural Council.
