Little Rangers proudly show off their preschool!

Even the littlest Rangers have lots of school pride!

That was evident at last month’s Little Rangers Preschool’s Fall Fest Open House, where current 3- and 4-year-old students showed their grown-ups how much fun they have at their school which is located inside Methuen High School.

“The children toured their parents around their room, showing them all of the fun things they do in the classroom. Then they chose which fun activity they wanted to do first: pumpkin decorating or cookie decorating,” explains pre-K lead teacher Jessi-Anne Surette.

“Our pumpkins were donated from Mann Orchards. The children and their parents decorated the pumpkins with fall and Halloween foam stickers. The children also decorated cookies using icing and sprinkles. We also had a table filled with other snacks for the families to enjoy!”

The preschool is part of the Early Childhood Education program at MHS, where second-year students stop in daily to do various age-appropriate activities with the children that correspond with weekly/monthly themes. Each class has 15 students maximum. The school, which services the Methuen community and MPS school staff, follows the Methuen Public Schools calendar and is open Monday to Friday, 6:45am-4:30pm. Rates vary depending on how many days per week the child attends.
