The Kiwanis Club of Methuen hosted its 3rd annual Bocce Tournament recently at the Sons of Italy Methuen.

Chairperson of this event, Larry Giordano, was happy to report that several Kiwanis Clubs from near and far were in attendance representing Hookset and Salem, N.H., as well as Lowell, Lawrence, Haverhill and of course Methuen.

All participants came together at this fun event to support the children of our communities and to win the Gold Cup Award which was presented to the Hooksett club this year as the highest-scoring Kiwanis Club in the competition. Hooksett will enjoy these bragging rights for one year until they compete next year to defend their position.

Club President Kate Cook stated, “Kiwanis Club of Methuen and all Kiwanis Clubs’ mission is dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis of Methuen partners with other local charities and non-profit organizations who also serve the needs of disadvantaged children in our community.”
