Methuen Co-operative Bank President Robert Armano has put up an impressive display of enlarged photos of historic Methuen scenes in the bank’s lobby on Broadway. Many of them are from old postcards that had been enlarged by Tom Grassi at Image-Tec in Methuen. The results are fantastic!
And what an appropriate location to step back in time: This bank has been in existence since 1923!
Armano says he now has more photos than wall space, so he’s planning to rotate them from time to time.
Stop by the bank, at 243 Broadway, and check them out. The lobby is open Monday and Tuesday, 8:30am-4pm; Wednesday, 8:30am-1pm; Thursday and Friday, 8:30am-5pm; and Saturday, 8:30am-noon.
