This past year has brought change, love and lots of new people to our beloved center! We would like to thank all those from the past for creating such a beautiful dwelling for all to enjoy. We want to thank all those in the present who make our days filled with joy and laughter. To those who will come to the center in the future, we welcome you with open arms.
You are our reason! May this new year bring lots of joy, good health and happy days of making memories with those you hold near and dear.
Wellness Roadmap
at your center
Our goal for the next 12 months is simple: Help every senior look, feel and live healthier! How? Each month we will be focused on daily habits – better eating, more movement and reduced isolation. We will be helping to build strong friendships on this journey. We will host Caregivers Seminars and resources, outreach to isolated seniors, skill-building and volunteer training to strengthen programs and community support.
Our mission looking into the future is: Grow stronger, healthier and wiser in community – one month, one activity, one friendship at a time!
Winter weather
advisory
If Methuen Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, all programs at the center will be canceled. If the schools have a two-hour delay, the center will also have a two-hour delay. This is all for your safety!
Great job with
tree removal
Thank you, Methuen DPW, Recreation Department, Livingston Family Tree Service and Coady’s Towing!
We thank them for the beautiful work they did removing our spruce tree and taking it to The Loop to serve as the holiday tree for the community to enjoy – all decorated in sparkling lights and Christmas balls (see story in this issue of MethuenLife!). You all did an amazing job!
In gratitude
To all who donated to The Giving Tree, we are forever grateful! You opened your hearts to our seniors in the community who otherwise would not have a Christmas. A major thank you to all who participated. I know that some came and we ran out of names, however, we were able to give direction on where else to donate. Our hearts are filled with appreciation and gratitude to all!
