Nevins Library hosted a Kickoff to Kindergarten community fair last month for families who have children entering Methuen Public Schools.
Guests were greeted by Superintendent Brandi Kwong along with the principals and Lower School associate principals from each grammar school.

Each child was handed a folder filled with information about kindergarten and what to expect on their first day. Several tables from local organizations and agencies provided resources and fun activities.

For some children, riding a school bus for the first time may be a little scary. To ease that worry, Trombley Bus had a school bus and driver on-site for the incoming kindergartners to climb aboard with their parents and see first-hand what a bus looks like inside and where they would sit.

MPS preschoolers and kindergartners start school Wednesday, Sept. 4.
