Local farmers markets offer everything from locally grown foods and sweet treats to one-of-a-kind crafts and free music.

Here’s a sampling of area markets.
  *Methuen Farmers Market: Fridays, June 16-Oct. 27, 10am-4pm at Nevins Library. Organized by Groundwork Lawrence. Accepted payments are cash, debit, credit, EBT/SNAP/HIP, WIC, senior coupons and Groundwork Lawrence coupons.
*Haverhill Farmers Market: Saturdays, June 24-Oct. 28 from 9am-1pm at Bradford Common. Note, this is a new location as the market has moved from the Merrimack Street parking garage.
  *Salem, NH Farmers Market: Sundays, May14-Oct. 29 from 10am-2pm at The Mall at Rockingham Park and located between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Cinemark. Year-round, but moves inside starting in fall.
  *Lawrence Farmers Markets: Wednesdays, 10am-5pm at Campagnone North Common across from the Center at 155 Haverhill St., and Saturdays, 10am-5pm at O’Connell South Common across from Pronto Pizza, 65 S. Union St. Through Oct. 28. Organized by Groundwork Lawrence.
  *Andover Farmers Market: Saturdays, 9am-1pm from June 17-Oct. 14 at South Church, 41 Central St.
  *North Andover Farmers Market: Sundays, June 18 to Oct. 1 from 10am-1pm at the intersection of First and Main streets. Local food, crafts and music.
*Derry Homegrown Farm & Artisan Market: Wednesdays, June to September from 3-7pm at 1 W. Broadway, Derry, N.H.
*Tewksbury Community Market: Thursdays, starting June 15 from 4-7pm at Livingston Street Park, 288 Livingston St. Runs 16 weeks.
