I found this latest Methuen collection item, though I do not remember where it came from since I have had it many years. This award was presented to Capt. Alwyn Russell by the Methuen Auxiliary Police Association, but no date is listed. After checking my 1954 Methuen Directory, I found that Capt. Russell and his wife, Marion, were living at 30 Ashland Avenue, and he was employed in Boston. I am sure that Capt. Russell’s award was well-deserved.
