This year, two graduates of Greater Lawrence Technical School were the recipients of The Walter “Red” Winn Scholarship. The Winn Scholarship is awarded annually to Methuen residents who show the values of community spirit and helpfulness which were exemplified by Red, who was the facilities manager at the library until his untimely passing in 2008.
