Last month’s Arts, Crafts and Music Festival was a great day celebrating the gifts of the participants and community that our “young at heart” shared for all to see.
From the beautiful quilts that grace the Morissette Auditorium to the paintings, ceramics and wood art, all of the creations were beautiful.
The Happy Hearts Chorus had everyone singing, clapping and having a wonderful time! We celebrated in the morning with fresh donuts and coffee, and recognized the contributions that Heav’nly Donuts and Harvey Signs have made for the center over the years. It was a great day! To the dignitaries, guest speakers, participants, neighbors, friends and family who joined us, we thank you for coming to our biggest event of the year!

We are proud to announce that Clear Paths for Veterans will host office hours at the center June 26, 9-11am.
Sewing Guild
This wonderful group meets monthly. They invite you to join them and share your projects and to connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts! Next meeting will be held June 9 at 12:30pm.
Kev-Tech is back
Learn how to navigate your phone, use your computers … whatever technology you’re struggling with, we have you covered! Whether you’re a beginner or just want to brush up on your skills, join us June 22 at 10am. Also, this class will be offered in Spanish on June 29. Call the center to reserve your space.
Raising Cane –
senior self-defense
Learning ways to stay safe is empowering! Join us June 18 at 10:30am for Raising Cane, a senior self-defense program. Please bring a cane with you so you can learn simple and effective techniques that can be used as a tool for stability and protection. This program is being sponsored by Larry Giordano.
