It’s been a quarter-century of faith-filled unity at Our Lady of Good Counsel. The parish was formed after the merger of St. Theresa’s Church in Methuen and St. Augustine Church in Lawrence.
To celebrate, a block party will be held in conjunction with the Tower Hill Neighborhood Association June 14 from 10am-2 pm at St. Augustine on Ames Street, Lawrence.
A parish picnic is scheduled for June 29 at the Beshara Boathouse in Lawrence.
The celebration’s highlight will be an anniversary Mass and banquet Sept. 20 and Mass with Archbishop Richard Henning on Sept.27 followed by a reception.
