There were plenty of laughs as seniors had a great time with “Dr. Cornfish” (aka Alex Alderete) who did caricature drawings of them at the Methuen Senior Center last month.
The exaggerated features of each participant drew lots of chuckles, which made this activity a great time for the 20 seniors who signed up to participate.
Dr. Cornfish said, “I like to start conversations with the people to capture their best features as they talk, like their mouth and eyes, as most think they need to sit still.”
Activities Coordinator Johanna Cordon thought this would be a wonderful program for the seniors.
“They enjoyed it very much and we may have him back again, as this was a big hit,” she said.

Ron DeLano was thrilled with his caricature likeness, right down to the whiskers in his beard.
Cheryl McQuillan can hardly wait to see her drawing as Dr. Cornfish puts on the finishing touches.
