Methuen’s seventh- and eighth-grade girls basketball champion Bluejays, led by coaches Robert Remillard and Steve Traverso, are Michaela Michaud, Sabrina Romardo, Isabella Piantigini, Ani Ghazarian, Lily Cushman, Bella Traverso and Avery Dell’Anno.
JAY PEAK CHAMPS!
The Methuen Youth Hockey Bantam team won the Green Mountain Avalanche Tournament which occurred March 13-15 in Jay Peak, Vt. The team was undefeated and won the championship in the final game against St. Albans, Vt., 4-2. Team members include skaters Dominic Alaimo, Austin Cameron, Asher Cianelli, Maxwell Deveau, Maggie Duckett, Thomas Enquist, Brayden Farias, Magnus Goor, Colin Hooper, Shannon Jalbert, Trevor LeVine, Andrew Marsh, Jack Messiner, Dara Mohazzab, Lucas Nelson, Benjamin Oliver and Tyler Rebelo. Goalies are Andrew Cornichuck and Benjamin Pare. Coaches include Jake Kennedy, Tim Marsh, Jaylen Marsh and Kyle Oliver.

Methuen’s 7th/8th-grade champion Thunder team includes Roy Lara Jaime, Dexter Fantry, Mason Sweeney, Adrian Delgado, Bryan De La Cruz, Aidam Daniells, Kollin Garabedian, Jesse Ortega, AJ Rivera and Liam Arias (not pictured). They were led by Assistant Coach Nathan Sweeney and Head Coach Michael Sweeney.
