The Rockingham Writers Exchange is looking for a few new writers. This small community of writers has been in existence since 2003. Several current and prior members have been successful in publishing novels and memoirs. Two members have won Honorable Mentions in prestigious writing contests.

They are seeking writers who are interested in writing and possibly publishing novels, memoirs and/or short stories, magazine articles and similar prose. They believe new members will have creative ideas and contributions that will benefit all in this writers exchange.

They do not impose time limits on completing any document. Authors will work at their own pace and schedule. There is no pressure to complete a manuscript. Sometimes, depending upon the number of submissions each month for group review might necessitate putting word count limits for the monthly submittals. That by itself will add time to a writer’s schedule.

The group meets the second Tuesday of each month at Nevins Library at 10:30am. Meetings typically end around 12:30pm.

If interested, submit a short synopsis of your writing experience, your writing interests and if you have been published. Please e-mail Brian Sullivan at jibehoboom@gmail.com.
