The Methuen High stands were packed with over 100 residents watching the on-ice battle between the Methuen Police Department and the Methuen Youth Hockey League coaches.
Prior to the players taking the ice, Mayor DJ Beauregard had the honor of doing the “puck drop” to start the game.
Final score was 8-4, with Methuen police taking the win. All proceeds from the game went to the youth hockey league.
