The Methuen Cultural Council held its final Summer Night Music Series concert during a “Bash at the Beach” at Forest Lake.
While the earlier musical performances took place Friday nights at Riverwalk Park on Osgood Street, this grand finale lured residents to the city’s gem on the shore!
The Offramps performed a variety of songs – by popular artists from various musical genres – for the nearly 100 people who visited throughout afternoon. The Cultural Council provided free popcorn and cotton candy as well as rock painting. Methuen police gave out sweet treats from their ice cream truck, Operation Freeze Patrol.
Several people took advantage of the warm weather and enjoyed a dip in the lake. Others had fun playing with oversized games provided by the Methuen Recreation Department.
